About Springvale South Church of Christ
It is by God’s grace that Springvale South Church of Christ exists in the suburb of Springvale South, within the City of Greater Dandenong — one of Melbourne’s largest and most culturally diverse communities. We recognise that God has placed us here for a purpose.
At Springvale South Church of Christ (SSCOC), we are deeply passionate about proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who do not yet know Him, making disciples, and grounding believers in the study of God’s Word. We are a Charismatic-Evangelical Church of Christ, located in one of the most multicultural and religiously diverse suburbs in Greater Dandenong. This presents both a great opportunity and a sacred responsibility.
Our mission is clear: to evangelise the unsaved through the proclamation of the Gospel and to help every new believer become a committed member of the local body of Christ. This calling flows directly from the Great Commission, where Jesus commands us: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:18–20).
Springvale South is a vibrant community where many families choose to live and grow — yet the vast majority do not know Christ. Scripture teaches us that everyone we encounter is our neighbour. Therefore, we are committed to loving and serving those around us and faithfully proclaiming the Good News to our community.
As we share the truth of Jesus Christ, many will be set free from the bondage of sin and darkness through the Gospel of God’s beloved Son, entering into a life-transforming and everlasting relationship with Him.
